TEAM FEES: A $100 non-refundable deposit is required for NEW Teams and a $50 non-refundable deposit is required for RETURNING Teams at the time of registration. The remainder of the team fee is due by the second game of the session. If not paid by the second game, the team may be required to forfeit games until the fee is paid. Any player on a team that drops out of the session before all fees are paid will be required to pay their portion of that team fee before being allowed to play on any other team.

Index

ROSTERS: Rosters are due by your first game, although you may add players to your rosters up to your third game. ALL INFORMATION on the NTSSA roster must be completed and game rosters must match exactly! Players added to your game roster after your third game will be considered “illegal” players. It is the responsibility of the Coach/Captain to add players to the North Texas roster. Adding a player to the “game roster” does not make that player “legal”. Teams playing illegal players will forfeit any games in which they play. The Coach/Captain of a team playing illegal players will receive a one game suspension. (In special situations, the League Director may allow a team to add players after their third game; in which case the Captain must seek permission to add prior to game day). Rosters are limited to 18 players!

PRIOR TO THE 3RD GAME OF THE SESSION, A PLAYER MAY NOT PLAY ON MORE THAN ONE TEAM IN A DIVISION ON THE SAME NIGHT. Players may change team only once each session.

Index

PLAY-OFF ELIGIBILITY: All players must participate in at least one regular season game to be eligible to participate with the team in the Play-off Tournament.

Index

Any player who uses another players ID Card in a game will be suspended from play at Arena Athletics for a minimum of one week. The ID Card will be confiscated by the Scorekeeper or the Referee and sent to the NTSSA A & D Committee. PLAYERS receiving Red Card Ejections, Referee will keep card and send it into State Office. Player must contact NTSSA to get card back, per NTSSA rules. This facility does not sell temporary ID Cards!

DIVISIONS: A division consists of 4 to 10 teams of similar age, sex and competitive level. Divisions are formed by Arena Athletics on a first come basis.

Index

FORMATION OF TEAMS: keeping your outdoor team together; splitting your outdoor team into two or more indoor teams, or forming a team from individuals. If you are in need of players, there is a box with names of players looking for teams at the front desk. You may also obtain players from our website at – www. arenaathletics.com (Looking for Players). Rosters are limited to 18 players. A team having to move to a lower division can ONLY carry six (6) players off of original roster.

Index

MISCONDUCT: Any player, coach or spectator may be ejected from the building if the Facility Manager or Referee feels that they are being disruptive. All persons red carded/ejected MUST leave building.

Index

LEAGUE STANDINGS: Standings are based on the following point system: 3 points for each win, 1 point for each tie, 0 points for each loss.

Any tie in the standings will be broken by head to head competition; if still tied, goal differential (goals scored minus goals against; up to 3 goals and using every game of the session); if still tied, least goals against for all games; if still tied, most goals for all games.

Sessions where there is an odd number of teams playing an uneven number of games; one team must be given an extra game so that all the other teams will play the correct amount. The team receiving the extra game will not receive points for the final game of the session. (For instance, if there is a 7-team division playing a 9 game session, one team must play 10 games for all other teams to play).
